About Us

Lily and Eve was created as a way to hold on to my heritage and culture. The fabric used for my purses is from a multi-purpose tube of cloth called malong which is worn, mostly by the Indigenous Tribes, in the Southern Philippines. Malong prints are limited run and once it’s gone, it’s gone for good. The colorful, eye-catching fabric is the icing on the cake to pull your outfit together. The extra large designs are made for you to make a statement and take command of the room.

Lily was my maternal grandmother and Eve was my paternal grandmother. These women were the foundation of the family who empowered us to be bold and fearless. Here I am, self taught in sewing; sometimes intimidated that I might not be good enough but I’m pushing on.
